Tasmania's Ninth Island being marketed to Chinese buyers

Ninth Island, an island in Bass Strait off Tasmania has been listed for sale with marketing aimed at Chinese buyers. It will cost approximately $500,000. Harrison Humphreys agent Rob Humphries has the Ninth Island Offering.

It is about 1.3 km long and 550 m wide - privately owned and badly affect in the past by grazing and frequent fires. It is just a short helicopter flight away from the mainland. The island is also home to a large mutton bird rookery.

The Ninth Island is also a well known wine brand in Tasmania, because the island is visible from the Vineyards.

So, now the question really is, do you want your own island?
